Axolotl's are kind of salamanders which remain in their larvae stage. They live in water. They have three common colors: White, grey and brown. The white example is not natural. This is a color created by humans.
They live primarly in mexico, but can also live in other waters (between 10-20°C, 50-68°F). They are cold-blood.
Food[]
They are carnivores and eat small living things. Like worms, larvs of insects and many more food. It won't accept dead worms. Only if you will move them. Also, they might try to eat the sand/stones in your aquarium. Please be careful, they can die by suffocating if they do. You should get stones which are larger then the mouth or sand which is veeeery small.
